They're saying this may be the last unusually hot day for awhile. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. But at least someone is enjoying the weather.

We're not getting relief until mid-week, I think. It was "only" 78 degrees at 4 am this morning, but with a heat index of 90. Gah! But they say rain may be coming....

Yeah, they're not puppies anymore, though you'd be surprised how many people think they are. :-)

The cool off is slow, with each day getting 4-5 degrees cooler. I'm just hoping the worst is over!

They never used to like the heat. I'm not sure what's changed. Last winter there wasn't much snow, so maybe they're just adapting, lol.

The boys look great! Such shiny coats. Moderation of the heat is a good thing, but rain is even better. The ocean is so warm it feels like going into your bathtub.

I was wondering how you were doing, what with all the news about the bad weather in Maryland. And if even the ocean is warmer, there's no chance of relief. I hope things improve for all of us. The boys will just have to get used to the cold again! *g*

They're finally passed the "something going wrong every few months" of puppyhood and are quite healthy. And, yay, it is cooling down!
