It's that time of year again

Time for my annual sabbatical to Shore Leave. But first, off to England for two weeks. My plane leaves this afternoon for Chicago, then it's off to London, barring any unforeseen weather events. They're saying today should be clear, but the threat of "severe weather" was "slight" yesterday and the siren to warn for tornadoes went off at 1:15 this morning. Talk about a new experience.

Anyway, I hope I don't miss too much here, though I'm sure I will.

Have a lovely time! Chicago is my hometown and London is one of my fav cities. I'm jealous! :-)

Well, you don't have to be too much. *g* Chicago was just a stopover and I was only in London for one day. Just long enough to visit with another friend, go to the Lambeth Palace library and catch a plane for Baltimore!

Glad Baltimore got some rain, though. I've never seen it so dry!
