Yes, this one and The Other were favorite horror novels, though, at the time, there weren't a lot of them.
Tyron did die way too soon. I did sort of like him as an actor, mainly in The Story of Ruth, but that was probably because he was such a cutie. *g* But his writing was much better. He was writing the third book in his Wings of Morning series when he died, so that was a huge disappointment as I'd loved the first two.
