It was my dad's book, which now I have. Like you, I was fascinated by the pictures. I can't remember how many times I would pull it out of his library and look at them. I did finally read it. Talk about a slog!

I always thought so. As a kid, I found the many illustrations inside vastly intriguing! When my dad asked me to go through his books and take what I wanted, this was my first pick.
