It's really very good. I don't know how well it relates to the present, but, for me, the scenes of a 30s childhood weren't that much different from that of one in the late 50s, early 60s. Change the radio to a tv and you were there.

I was born in 1958, so yeah, a child in the late 50's and early 60's. I'll put the movie on my list of things to watch; thanks for the recommendation!
