Oh dear - that doesn't sound good at all... As soon as you mentioned "Baby" I sort of remembered a previous description (obviously from your first review!) and it all sounded quite hopeful - until you got to your opinion of it, rather than the blurb! Just rats - it's so awfully disappointing when a book doesn't work as it should, isn't it...
